Finance Fundamentals - Not-for-Profit is a self-paced financial literacy program for Australian not-for-profit executives and managers without a finance background. Every session is built around the specific pressures of leading a mission-driven organisation - funding diversification and funder concentration risk, grant income recognition under AASB 1058 and AASB 15, reserves policy and cash flow management for grant-dependent income, and accountability to funders, donors, members and the community. The content is grounded in the ACNC Act and Governance Standards, the Corporations Act and guidance from leading professional bodies - and brought to life through four original Australian case studies.
